In anticipation of the 2026 Ballyscullion Park Book Festival in May, we are very excited to launch our Spring Writing Workshop programme.

The programme features four inspiring writing workshops led by renowned novelists Bernie McGill and Mary Farrell alongside the brilliant poets Niamh McNally, Stephanie Conn and Maura Johnston.

Set against the stunning, historic backdrop of Ballyscullion Park, these workshops offer the perfect opportunity to unleash your creativity in the very heart of where the magic happens. Immerse yourself in the world of storytelling and poetry in one of Northern Ireland’s most breathtaking settings, near the childhood home of Seamus Heaney which inspired much of his work.

There will be a number of writing workshops in the autumn months featuring Byddi Lee, James Murphy,  Martina Devlin and Sue Divin. Follow us to keep up to date on programming.
